Photographer/Videographer
Photography | Greater Seattle Area, US
I spent all of my 20s working as a project manager focusing on IT strategy, web development, knowledge management, CRM, and online communication strategy. With my creative drive having always pulled at me, in recent years I have tied together my professional experience with my passion for photography.
I'm currently Product Manager for
dpreview.com, the #1 photography website online. This role has allowed me to dive deep into product development in a fascinating and fast developing space, the intersection of web publishing, content curation, photography and mobile technology.
Additionally, I work with a Seattle based production company, We Are Shouting, on documentary film and photography projects.
Also, due to the nature of my professional experience, I offer freelance photography, social media, and online strategy consulting services for a # of non-profits and social businesses.
Other random facts:
I serve on the board of SeaMo Microfinance, a Seattle non-profit that focuses on connecting the microfinance community through special events, online services and opportunities for collaboration.
I have been a DJ for over 14 years, do yoga daily, hike often, and have worked as a cook in an Italian restaurant for three years in my younger days; my marinara is tasty!
